My Specialties & Areas of Expertise
Over the years, I have developed expertise in several areas where I feel most passionate and effective, supporting individuals and families to navigate complex emotional challenges:
1. 1. Coercive and Abusive Relationships
I work with people who are currently in, or have left, coercive or controlling relationships. These experiences can leave deep emotional wounds, confusion, and difficulty trusting oneself. I help clients regain their footing, rebuild confidence, and explore new ways of expressing themselves and connecting with others. My approach is compassionate, non-judgmental, and focused on empowering you to regain control of your life.
2. 2. Neurodiversity & ADHD
I have extensive experience supporting neurodiverse clients, including autistic individuals and young people experiencing symptoms of ADHD, from my work at a college in London (LSEC). I understand the unique challenges neurodiverse people face in relationships, family dynamics, education, and daily life, and I tailor my support to meet each person's individual needs, strengths, and ways of processing the world.
3. 3. Family and Relationship Work
I am passionate about helping families navigate conflicts and improve communication. While I work with couples, my focus is on the broader family unit — including parent-child relationships, siblings, and extended family dynamics. Using my training in mentalisation and my understanding of family systems, I work with families together in sessions to foster understanding, empathy, and healthier ways of relating — helping families rebuild trust, strengthen connections, and create emotional safety within the household.
4. 4. Anxiety, Low Mood, and Depression
I also support clients struggling with anxiety, including general anxiety, low mood, and depression. Whether symptoms are mild or severe, I provide a safe, supportive space to explore triggers, develop coping strategies, and work towards emotional balance and well-being.
